School of Football Returns to Bolton Arena
Bolton Wanderers School of Football returned to coaching at Bolton Arena for the final two weeks of the Summer Holidays.
After over a year of just delivering holiday courses at Canon Slade, School of Football coaches are delivering 9 days of courses in the shadow of the Reebok Stadium at Bolton Arena. School of Football Manager Steve Obertelli said:
"Our partnership with Canon Slade for the use of their facilities has been going great, and has been catering for our catchment group for that area of the borough. However, I am conscious that we want to ensure everyone across the town can participate in our Summer football program, hence the two weeks at Bolton Arena. The pitches at Bolton Arena are fantastic quality and many children in the area train there for the junior teams they play for so they are used to the facility. It is also great for the children we are coaching to be able to see the Reebok Stadium whilst they are on the courses, as many aspire to one day play for the First Team in front of a packed out crowd, hopefully our coaching will help in putting children on the right pathway to future success."
Bolton Arena's Football Manager Marcus Brown had this to say about the return of the School of Football Courses to the facility;
