School of Football

Bolton Wanderers School of Football was launched in March 2010 by BWFC first team squad member Mark Davies. The School of Football offers quality football coaching provisions in school time, after school and in the school holidays.

The School of Football follows a strict coaching plan and works hard to implement the ethos of the Football Association’s Age Appropriate Coaching ensuring that no matter the experience or ability of the player being coached, they are challenged individually to ensure that they learn new skills and develop existing ones.

Bolton Wanderers Manager, Owen Coyle, champions the initiatives carried out by the School of Football. “These Official BWFC courses are not only great for the youngsters that take part as they learn about teamwork, have fun, and get some top class coaching but they also allow the club to do some talent spotting”.

Bolton Wanderers School of Football is pleased to announce that the Principle Partner for holiday courses is Canon Slade Secondary School. With fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities Bolton Wanderers School of Football will be using Canon Slade Secondary School as its main location for the delivery of School Holiday Football Courses.
