Voice4U organised an awards evening on Monday 14 November 2011 at the Festival Hall, Town Hall.
Positive Chances had the opportunity to showcase the good work the project is delivering to young people with in Bolton. On the night Positive Chances presented an award to one young person that has engaged with the project and has shown a good attitude and commitment to attend all sessions.
Over 300 people attended the first ever Awards evening organised by Bolton's children in care council, Voice4U. Children, young people and their families, friends, foster carers, teachers and council staff were entertained by Gary Hanks (Emmerdale, Dinner Ladies), the Positive Chances Street Dance Group, and Kendro (the X-Factor).
The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton presented over 80 children and young people with achievement awards, which were announced by Voice4U members.
Everyone who attended commented on what was a fantastic evening.
