Six young people from Bolton Leaving Care took part in the 5 aside annual Tournament in Warrington and did themselves and the staff proud in the competitive matches throughout the day.

In the group stages the team drew 3 games, won 1 and lost only their last game which was enough to see them safely through to the quarter finals.

The players showed great individual skill and had some good chances which impressed the local mayor who was at the side lines. After losing 1-0 in the quarter finals, they showed great sportsmanship and stayed to support the remaining teams.

A big well done for the gallant effort from all players, and heres looking forward to next year!
