Tonge Moor & Great Lever Football Sessions
Over the February half-term the Community Trust's Cohesion team has been busy offering free football coaching to young people in Bolton.
The Community Cohesion team has been working in the Tonge Moor and Great Lever areas of the town working with a wide variety of young people. All the sessions lasted for two hours and where run by FA level 2 qualified coaches. The great Lever sessions.
Over the week around 150 people attended the sessions with several returning daily.
Ben Laycock Community Cohesion Manager said “To be able to get out in the community and offer free coaching is great. It allows young people the chance to take part and get quality coaching to develop their skills both on the football pitch and also socially through meeting new people. I am hopeful we will be able to increase these sessions and widen our delivery area to make it available to as many young people as possible within Bolton".
