Premier League, Fred Perry and ETTA nationwide table tennis initiative reaches its climax
 
Young table tennis stars representing Bolton Wanderers Community Trust took part in the 2011 Fred Perry Table Tennis Urban Cup Finals at London’s Business Design Centre on Saturday, taking on 19 other teams from Premier League clubs around the country.

9 young people are participating in a 6 week basic stable management course at Matchmoor stables, where they will spend their time riding, taking care of the stables and grooming the horses. 01/03/2011: Bolton Wanderers Community Trust awarded 'Boltonmark'

Bolton Wanderers Community Trust has been awarded the 'Boltonmark' this means BWCT is described by Bolton Council as;

"Complying with all minimum operating standards set by Bolton Council’s Positive Contributions Service deeming the organisation safe, friendly and effective. The accreditation is a mark of high quality for organisations working within communities."

On achieving the Boltonmark, Bolton Wanderers Community Trust Manager Ian Laithwaite said;

"At the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust it is essential that everything we do is of the highest quality. We represent both BWFC and the Premier league and it is therefore essential that our standards are unsurpassed. Achieving the Bolton Mark further reinforces our diligent approach to community activities within Bolton. We are very pleased to have achieved the Mark and hope that this acts to reinforce our status in the town"

25/02/2011: Ghosia Judo gets off to a flying start

On Monday 14th February Bolton Wanderers Community Trust’s Premier League 4 Sport project launched its FREE* Judo development sessions at Ghosia Mosque. 34 young people attended the first sessions but there is still room for plenty more to join in so why not give it a go? 

The Judo development sessions are accessible for all young people regardless of ability.  Please find session details below:

The tickets where split between the young people and volunteers who attend several youth orientated projects run by the Community Cohesion team.
